Nov 27 hunting trip

I just got done getting ready for a day hunt in Pratt Ks. The gear is all ready to go. We are leaving at 5am to hunt ducks and then walk some fields to find some quail and pheasants! What a great day.

The Cops are here!!

So the other night at 1:30am the doorbell rings! I get out of bed and peak outside and see a cop car. I turn around and shout "The Cops are here." As you can image Emily was a little freaked out. Come to find out I had left the garage door open and the local police officer was patrolling my street.

In the first year I have lived in Prairie Village I have left my garage door open twice. The first time the neighbor across the street came over around 12:30 to let me know my garage door open. And now the cops!! What is next?

Michael and Lucy Go Hunting

After sending Lucy away for a month for training we were able to go hunting. Lucy started out great but was a little gun shy. She did not get in anybody's way so that was great. I would like to take her out a few more times this winter. I think she will improve each time she goes. Overall we shot 20 pheasants and 15 quail. It was a great weekend.

I have posted a few pictures from our wonderful honeymoon in Antigua. Scuba diving, boat tours, snorkeling, sitting on the beach and eating nice meals took most of our time at Antigua.

Grilled some ribeyes on Friday along with a ice cold Bud Light. Then off to O'Dowds!!!
